Steamship Authority accepting entries for 2025 “Sail into Imagination” art contest
FALMOUTH (March 24, 2025) â The Woods Hole, Marthaâs Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority is accepting entries for its 10th annual âSail into Imaginationâ art contest for students in grades Kâ12 living on Cape Cod, Marthaâs Vineyard, and Nantucket, and in Fairhaven and New Bedford.
The winning artwork will be featured in a 2026 Steamship Authority calendar and displayed on the SSAâs website and select ferries. Gift cards for SSA passenger travel will also be awarded to student winners. All entries will be entered into a grand prize drawing for a $150 Visa gift card.
âThe annual student art contest is a standout event of the year, and weâre thrilled to once again have the chance to display these one-of-a-kind creations,â said General Manager Robert B. Davis.
Students are invited to submit entries through the mail or by dropping their submissions at Steamship Authority terminals no later than May 17, 2025. Entries submitted by U.S. Mail may be directed to the SSAâs Communications and Marketing Department at 228 Palmer Avenue, Falmouth, MA 02540. Winners will be announced on the SSA website later this year.
