Planning a Getaway thatâs Car-Free and Carefree
The Steamship Authority, in combination with the public transportation authorities of Marthaâs Vineyard and Nantucket, can help make planning a car-free island visit both easy and convenient. Just park your car in one of our off-site parking lots, take our free shuttle to our Hyannis or Woods Hole Terminal, and then board one of our ferries to the Island of your choice. Upon your arrival, youâll find public transportation on-island is readily available just steps from the ferry docks.
